DEADLINES: In most months, Kaleo is generally distributed on the second Thursday. It is hand delivered to most households in Lä'ie, Hauula and Kahuku and distributed in bulk at other key pick-up points in central Ko'olauloa on or about the issue dates listed above. The deadlines to receive advertising and editorial materials — including photos, press releases, calendar items, etc. — are also indicated above.
New advertisers are requested to contact the publisher at least a week in advance of the deadlines listed above, as Kaleo is sometimes limited in size and we may not automatically have enough space to accommodate everyone. Story ideas and leads should also be turned in well in advance of the deadlines so Kaleo staff have the time to gather follow up information, generate stories and take photos, where needed. These dates are subject to change.
